Leandro Trossard makes Premier League history with incredible first half performance for Arsenal AFC
Leandro Trossard had a first half to remember for Arsenal on Sunday as he grabbed a hat-trick of assists.
Fulham had no idea on how to deal with the Gunners forward, as the Premier League leaders raced to a 3-0 lead.Trossard also became the first player in the competition’s history to make a hat-trick of assists in the first half of an away game. Arsenal had already had a goal disallowed by a tight VAR offside call when Gabriel broke the deadlock in the 21st minute.
He jumped above the Fulham defenders to head home a Trossard corner as they capitalised on their fast start. The Gunners doubled their advantage when Trossard crossed the ball for Gabriel Martinelli, who easily beat his marker Antonee Robinson to nod home.
