Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, said the abductees were freed after the troops at Dansadau engaged the bandits in a gun battle on Wednesday. The rescued victims who are 16 males and four females were taken to the Dansadau area of the state for further action.In another development, troops of sect 1, team 10 deployed at Wasagu also delivered two residents who escaped from bandits’ hideout in Birnin Gwari forest.
