The family of a young mum who died suddenly say they will remember her as "a loving and caring person".
Orla Flynn, from North Belfast, died on March 3, 2023, sending a wave of grief throughout her family and friends circles. The 44-year-old had four daughters and one son, her youngest being just six-years-old. And as her family come to terms with her tragic death, the community has rallied round them, offering support where needed.Speaking to Belfast Live, a family member said that her death has "left a huge hole".
"She was the thing that held us together as a family. The community around us has been amazing in terms of support of trying to help with things in every way. They were there for us throughout the funeral in terms of helping with catering, and being there in general for support. "Orla also has two brothers and a sister, and in the lat two weeks, her sister has done so much to help everyone."The family added: "Orla was a loving and caring person and always had everyone by the hand in a sense, holding them through every difficult time, and we think that’s exactly how she will be remembered, as someone who put others first."For all the latest news, visit the Belfast Live homepage here.
