The sanctuary for vandalised, damaged or at-risk trees was inspired by the group of teenagers.

The site, in Coventry, has been inspired by a group of three teenagers who call themselves the "Tree Amigos". Owen explained: "We've spent 17 of our 17 years around here and it's a shame to see this environment around us fall apart."In February the trio were praised by the city council for saving a row of newly planted trees on Sowe Common.
