Controversial businessman Zunaid Moti announced on Wednesday that he has"stepped away" from his namesake Moti Group, leaving the business in the hands of former Treasury director-general Dondo Mogajane.
Mogajane was appointed as CEO of the group in June last year, shortly after leaving National Treasury. Earlier this year, he told News24 that he had mostly been"quietly working" on governance and compliance issues.
