Variawa, one of the youngest works drivers in the sport's history, impressed with his pace, finishing 17th alongside co-driver Brett Cummings.Veteran Dakar racer Giniel de Villiers, supported by co-driver Dennis Murphy, battled navigational challenges and punctures, ultimately securing seventh place. De Villiers played a crucial role in the development and testing of the GR IMT Hilux T1U. Three other Toyota Hilux crews also achieved top-ten finishes, highlighting the team's overall dominance.
