Two Australians traveling through Europe who wanted to try out a hostel for the first time have revealed the “disgusting” experience that ensured they would never do it again.

Liv Hull and Demi Rutter shared their “hostel icks” on TikTok – including naked roommates, flooding showers, and sagging beds.“I don’t know what the common courtesy is for what you wear in a hostel but I didn’t know you could wear nothing to bed.”On the first night, Rutter explained she bunked with Hull because she didn’t want to sleep on a top bunk alone as she had broken her arm falling off a top bunk as a child.
Back in the room, the women admitted they should have done more research as there was no air conditioner or even a fan in the middle of summer.“The whole thing dipped so far, I thought I was going to sleep literally on top of the guy below me,” Ms Hull said.
