The Italian leaves after 16 months in charge and eight days on from his extraordinary post-match rant following the 3-3 draw at Southampton, with his assistant Cristian Stellini to take charge as acting head coach for the rest of the season. Tottenham's chairman Daniel Levy has said:"We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place. We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters."
Tottenham qualified for the Champions League in Conte's first season and are currently fourth in the table - meaning they will qualify again if they finish in their current position or higher.Advertisement
