A Toronto woman badly injured in a freak accident 10 days ago has now died.

Police on Tuesday said the woman had died the day before in hospital. Const. Cindy Chung said the identity of the victim will not be released. The investigation is ongoing and police have reiterated their call for residents and drivers who may have dash camera footage from between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 6 or who witnessed the event to come forward.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-1900 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
