Toronto police have released an updated description of the three male suspects wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Leslieville.
Toronto police have released surveillance images of the three suspects in a deadly daylight shooting in Leslieville on Friday, in which a stray bullet took the life of a local mother.
The first suspect is described as tall, with a medium build, cornrows, and between 25 and 30 years of age. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a black stripe from sleeve to sleeve, blue jeans and white shoes. Police say he might have visible injuries on his head, as seems to be the case from the surveillance image released, in which his face is turned away from the camera.
The third suspect was described by police as tall with a thin build. The surveillance image released of this suspect is the least identifiable, with his face fully obscured by a grey hoodie pulled over his head. Police noted he was last seen wearing dark pants and dark shoes.Investigators are advising anyone who sees the three males to consider them armed and dangerous. “If located, do not approach, call 911 immediately,” police wrote on Sunday.
“Everything about her was just beautiful,” that friend, who identified herself to reporters only as Agnes, said. Local councillor Paula Fletcher, who did not know Huebner-Makurat personally, said she’d been hearing about her impact in the Leslieville community since the tragic events on Friday. The neighbourhood was grieving, Fletcher said, including a local school and daycare.
