A suspect is believed to have broken into a woman’s home and sexually assaulted her while she was asleep this morning in Toronto.the incident. Police say that the man broke into a home near College Street and Ossington Avenue at around 6 a.m. on Sunday and sexually assaulted a woman while she was “asleep in her bed.” The man fled the scene into an unknown direction, police say.
He is described as being in his 30s or 40s, white, five feet eight inches to five feet 11 inches tall, slim, balding on top with dark brown or black hair on the side of the head and has a beard. He was last seen wearing a white hooded sweater with a black and colourful design, skinny black jeans, and white or light coloured shoes.
Police have not yet disclosed if there are grounds to believe whether this was a targeted incident. They also did not share the age of the woman, and whether she is a minor.
