He likely would have received a warm welcome from the Toronto crowd. Months after being traded, Valanciunas sat courtside to watch a Raptors playoffs game, and received a standing ovation.
Remembering the energy of the crowds at Raptors games both inside the arena, and in Jurassic Park during the playoffs, Valanciunas said the city will always feel like home for him and his family — his first son was born while he played here.
