Topless Maserati GranCabrio Debuts With 542 Hp V6 Thrills

The topless version of the Maserati GranTurismo will also be offered with a fully electric powertrain in the near future

Maserati has finally unveiled the new GranCabrio, the drop-top counterpart to the GranTurismo introduced in 2022. This 2+2 convertible is initially offered with the powerful Nettuno V6 engine in the Trofeo trim. However, the lineup is set to expand with the introduction of the fully electric Folgore variant in the near future. Some may argue that the Maserati GranCabrio looks sexier compared to its closed-roof GranTurismo counterpart, owing to its convertible design.

To make the open-air driving experience more pleasant, Maserati equipped the GranCabrio with a standard neck warmer for the driver and the front passenger, offering three levels of intensity. Furthermore, there is an optional wind-stopper that reduces turbulence inside the cabin although it's use is limited for a two-seater layout. The pictured example of the Maserati GranCabrio combines a dark blue hue with a striking red upholstery for the cabin.
