School board candidates Bob Schroeder and Josh Silva were the top spenders in the school district 2022 general election, but both came up more than 620 votes short of being elected on Oct. 15, according to data released by Elections BC on Thursday.
On the other end of the scale, trustee Cory Antrim received no campaign donations and spent $313.55 of his own money on his successful campaign to get elected. In Mackenzie, incumbent trustee Rachael Weber was the only person to come forward, and was acclaimed.
