Olivia Shook and the Rams controlled the early action, with the senior making four of their six first-half three-pointers. Cy Ridge held the rebounding edge early, getting the ball back outside to Shook, who had 14 of her team-high 20 points in the first quarter. "We had a plan going in," Tompkins coach Tamatha Ray said."It didn't work. That's the fun part of coaching, I suppose. It's the kids being able to adjust. It wasn't so much me. ... It's not like I called a timeout and said 'hey, you get 0.' They did that on the floor."
Tompkins continued to move the ball through Adeleye near the free-throw line, leading to 21 points and three assists, as well as six rebounds, two blocks and three steals.
