Whenever we walked through city hall after that, Dylan would smile at the mayor’s photo and say “That’s my buddy, the mayor.” Jim Watson’s people skills were exemplary.It may be fashionable to rant about all the negatives of any public figure, but, just for today, I would like to say thank you to Jim Watson, Ottawa’s own “no fuss” mayor for the past 12 years.
