There were hardly any visitors that evening, which must have been a great loss for all those efforts and costs to put up the light show. But more importantly, this is pure discrimination of disabled people and of a lot of seniors. Few have highlighted this flaw.The Royal Ottawa hired Dr. Jack Kitts to write a report on ‘a collaborative way forward’ — but won’t release the findings, Jan. 21.

If the findings of a report are not made available to those who hold a stake in the matter, what is the value of the report? The Royal hopes to get its strategic plan back on track but there is no intention to share report findings with any of the stakeholders who would be instrumental in the plan’s implementation.
