Jenna Bush Hager mentioned a youthful spring break trip to an Alabama landmark: “Okay, I will say one that was fun, we once did a road trip from Austin, Texas, to the Flora-Bama... And the flora_bama is this really funny, cool bar, on the line.” More:

Whether or not you want the president’s daughters hitting the Flora-Bama at spring break remains an open question. But 20 or so years later, it apparently remains a good memory for Jenna Bush Hager, one of George W. Bush’s twin daughters.

“Okay, I will say one that was fun, we once did a road trip from Austin, Texas, to the Flora-Bama,” she said. “I can’t remember exactly where we were staying in Alabama, but somewhere on the beaches of Alabama, shows you how fun the trip was. And the Flora-Bama is this really funny, cool bar, on the line.”

NBC doesn’t seem to have an official clip of the segment posted, but someone caught a video as it aired and shared it with the Flora-Bama, which put it on its Facebook page last week. That prompted a memory or two.
