Germany's lack of international titles in the past decade will count for nothing when the two-time world champions kick off their Group H campaign against Morocco on July 24 at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
They won consecutive World Cups in 2003 and 2007 to establish themselves as one of the powerhouses of the women's game. They reached the quarter-finals in the 2019 World Cup but for next month their key match could come even earlier. Voss-Tecklenburg is no stranger to success herself, with four European titles under her belt as a player.
