Two of the NFL trade deadline’s most heavily rumored players don’t seem to be going anywhere.

The Titans are expected to keep star running back Derrick Henry and veteran receiver DeAndre Hopkins unless they receive an “exceptional” offer,With the Titans entering Week 8 last in the AFC South at 2-4, a plethora of rumors emerged that they might look to cash in on the pair of players and other veterans on the roster.General manager Ran Carthon has taken calls on multiple players on his roster, per the report, but does not plan to move on any offer unless it exceeds expectations.

The Cowboys were one of the more notable teams linked with Henry, but they reportedly have not called about him.DeAndre Hopkins is in his first season with the Titans.It’s been rough sledding so far this season for Henry, who has rushed 98 times for 425 yards and three touchdowns. At 29 years old and in his eighth season in the NFL, Henry is at a place in his career that often scares front offices due to their fear of running backs’ rapid decline.

Last year, Henry led the league with 349 carries while recording 1,538 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.Titans general manager Ran Carthon likely won’t be dealing two star players.But his addition to the offense has not gone to plan, with 27 receptions for just 376 receiving yards and no touchdowns. The Titans are now without starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who exited the team’s Week 6 loss to the Ravens with a high ankle sprain before the bye week.Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has not yet announced whether Malik Willis or Will Levis will start.
