Tish Cyrus has filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus for the third time, Billboard can confirm.
The former couple addressed their decision to split on April 12 in a joint statement to, and said that their split is coming from a place of “love in our hearts.” Per their statement, the estranged spouses plan to remain focused on their family, though individually they will embark on new journeys without each other.
“It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts,” the statement read. “We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths.” It continued, “We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents.
