The tips came in after police released an image taken from surveillance video on Friday.
Victoria police have identified a suspect in a punching incident at a Bastion Square restaurant, thanks to tips from the public.
They said staff stopped serving a male customer about 8:30 p.m. on March 13 after he showed signs of drug or alcohol impairment.The man threatened the customer with a chair before a second customer took the chair away from him. He then punched the first customer in the face, leaving the customer with facial and dental injuries.Anyone with information about the incident who has yet to speak with officers is asked to call Victoria Police Department at 250-995-7654, extension 1.
