The official Tiny Toons Looniversity theme song for Warner Bros. Animation's upcoming animated comedy has been released
has been released. The new theme song was composed by Matthew Janszen, who pays tribute to the original series by showcasing Bruce Broughton’s iconic tune while remixing the original arrangement and lyrics to fit into its new college concept.
The exact release date for the animated sitcom hasn’t been announced yet, but it is expected to debut sometime this fall on Cartoon Network and Max.“Described as a show for new generation, the series follows Babs, Buster, and the rest of the crew to Acme Looniversity,” reads the synopsis. “At the esteemed institution of higher hijinx learning, they form long-lasting friendships and perfect their cartoony craft while studying under the greatest cartoon characters in history, the Looney Tunes.
The freshman class of Tiny Toons Looniversity will feature the voices of Ashleigh Crystal Hairston as Babs Bunny, David Errigo Jr. as Hamton J. Pig/ Plucky Duck, and Tessa Netting as Sweetie Bird. In addition, Bauza voices Babs’ twin brother Buster Bunny, with Cree Summer also reprising Elmyra.
Tiny Toons Looniversity is executive produced by Sam Register and Steven Spielberg, with Erin Gibson and Nate Cash serving as co-showrunners. Additional executive producers are Gibson, Cash, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. The series is produced by
