The Big Picture The acting setlist for James Mangold's A Complete Unknown just got some new numbers added to it, with the confirmed casting of five new actors to the movie's backing singers, as per Deadline. Featuring Timothée Chalamet as the legendary folk singer Bob Dylan, the film — currently undergoing production in New York City, from Searchlight Pictures — has now welcomed an ensemble of talented actors to its roster, among them Boyd Holbrook.
Holbrook previously worked with Mangold on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Logan, so his upcoming role in A Complete Unknown feels like a natural progression in their collaborative journey. Beyond Mangold's projects, Holbrook's anticipated performance in Jeff Nichols’sThe Bikeriders is already creating buzz.
Who Has Been Cast in 'A Complete Unknown'? Close Dan Fogler, Will Harrison, and Charlie Tahan round out the cast. From Fogler's comedic timing, demonstrated best in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, to Harrison's breakout role in Daisy Jones & The Six, and Tahan's compelling performances on Ozark, their addition to the cast adds a really strong layer of supporting actors to help Chalamet, Elle Fanning and Edward Norton, who had already been cast.
