Scott's campaign announced Wednesday that the two-term senator will speak about his strategy to take down the transnational criminal organizations that make billions of dollars annually by smuggling people and drugs into the United States."If you don't control your back door at your house, it's not your house. If you don't control your southern border, it might not be our country," Scott said in a statement.
Scott will visit southwestern Arizona's Yuma, a city of 90,000 residents about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Phoenix.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER Yuma has been a hotbed for human smuggling over the past several years and has a high rate of illegal immigrant apprehensions.
