’s “Condiment Claire” Dinhut and chef Max Mariola will co-host the 12-episode show, exploring culinary – and cultural – characteristics of various Italian regions.Market, “Italian Food Tour” will start shooting in the spring. Antonio Azzalini has been tapped as showrunner.
Finding the right people who could lead the way was crucial, he says, ultimately setting his sight on the unlikely pairing of Dinhut and Mariola. “I don’t like this [stereotypical] image of Italy, pizza, mafia, mandolino.
