Valentine's Day56-year-old Suthep “Maew” Promjit left his hometown of Nakhon Nayok in Central Thailand on 14 January on foot with the aim of arriving in Satun just in time for Valentine’s Day to propose to his girlfriend.
Suthep has already lost more than 17 kilograms since he began his journey, and said that he is elated that he was able to show his wife-to-be the lengths he would take to prove how much he loves her.Love knows no bounds “I want people who abuse their families and loved ones, as well as those who are unfaithful to their wives, to pay attention to this journey,” he said.
