A dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist in East London is looking for a solutions-driven Tier 3 Senior Support Engineer to join their team. You will provide cloud, infrastructure, datacenter, software, and end user computing support. Responsibilities include assisting with escalations from 2Line datacentre software support, conducting Preventative Maintenance, and architecting new solutions.
Applicants must have Matric/Grade 12, an IT-related qualification (Certification, Diploma, Degree), and one of the following Certifications: MCSE, VCP, CCE, HPE (DC) (End User), DELL (DC) (End User), VMware, Veaam. You will need at least 7-10 years’ experience supporting ITC environments, possess a valid Driver’s Licence with your own reliable vehicle with the willingness to make use of your own vehicle for business travel.Present reports to customers during monthly feedback sessions.Document implementations and provide SOPs.Be aware of and manage project delivery within budget.Ensure accurate and complete project related documentation (e.g. time sheets and project sign off documentation).Work with Service Management to ensure on time delivery.Manage and prioritize tasks and time efficiently.
