Suspects are being sought in two Oakland shootings Wednesday night that left three people wounded.
OAKLAND — Three people were wounded in two shootings that happened less than 10 minutes apart Wednesday night in different areas of East Oakland, authorities said.Police said the two shootings are not related.
Police said the two, who they were told are in a relationship, had just parked a vehicle and were in the process of getting out when someone began shooting at them. At 7:43 p.m. a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 2100 block of Courtland Avenue another mostly residential area a few miles from Auseon Avenue.
Police did find a blood trail and numerous vehicles and at least one residence that had been hit by gunfire.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money in the double shooting and up to $5,000 in the other shooting for information leading to the arrests of the suspects.
