It's believed that the three suspects are part of an organized theft group from South America that traveled to the United States to commit similar offenses.LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Lancaster County police are investigating a reported grocery store theft and have identified three suspects related to the case., on Oct. 24, 2023, a wallet was stolen at Wegman's. One of the credit cards was used to make a purchase in the amount of $1,982.18.
Security footage from the store was used to verify two men captured stealing the wallet were using the stolen credit card to make the transactions. After the theft, various stolen credit cards were used to make $6,150.86 worth of purchases. The same men from the Oct. 24 theft were allegedly captured using the stolen credit cards, alongside a woman. The value of the wallet and its contents totaled $2,850. According to police, the suspects used the stolen credit cards to make $11,710.
As a result of the investigation, Jeferson Nue-Rosales, 41, from North Bergen, NJ, Cesar Augusto Limas-Urbisagastegui, 67 and Liseth Maryorie Romero-Berrospi, 32, from Newark, NJ, are facing various device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and dealing in unlawful activities charges. It's believed that the three suspects are part of an organized theft group from South America that traveled to the United States to commit similar offenses.
All three suspects are wanted by police at this time.
