THUNDER BAY — An OPP-led Joint Forces Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team investigation has led to the arrest of three people in Thunder Bay.
OPP reported Monday that two men from the Greater Toronto Area and a resident of the Montreal area are charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000. Approximately 3.7 kilograms of suspected cocaine, $50,000 in cash, and a vehicle were seized on Jan. 19 during the execution of search warrants in Thunder Bay.
The operation also involved the OPP emergency response team, Nishnawbe Aski Police Service, Anishinabek Police Service and the Thunder Bay Police Service.The three accused were all remanded into custody pending their next court appearance.
