Quinte West OPP have charged three people with theft related to a shoplifting investigation.
Police responded to a business on Dundas Street West at around 2 p.m. on June 4 on a report of shoplifting.On June 10, three people were arrested. 29-year-old Adi-Claudiu Nicola, 25-year-old Adelina-Felicia Popa and 29-year-old Maria-Aranca Stoican, all from the Greater Toronto Area, were charged with theft over $5000.
All of the accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
