Officers at West Mercia Police say they are dealing with the incident at the junction of the A489, just north of Craven Arms. The police said on Twitter:"Collision A49 junction with A489 Craven Arms - we are currently dealing with a two-car collision.A police spokesperson later updated the information saying the crash involved three cars.
The spokesperson said:"We received a call to attend due to debris on the road and build-up of traffic due to a three-car collision on the A49 junction with the A489.The road was reported to be fully reopened after midday.
