THUNDER BAY — City police seized what they described as a significant quantity of cocaine during a Thursday evening drug bust.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers executed a search warrant at a residential address on the 1200 block of Victoria Avenue East as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking activity. Three suspects were located and placed under arrest. A search of the home led officers to find suspected crack cocaine, cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

The three accused — 42-year-old Steven James Kozak, 33-year-old Jessica Royleen Raven, and 28-year-old Nicholas Chrishane Smith — are each charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.All three appeared in court on Friday and remain in custody with future appearance dates scheduled.
