A substitute teacher’s aide who was working at Martic Elementary School on Feb. 23 called in a threat to the school, forcing an evacuation, police announced Thursday. Lancaster County authorities went to the school on Martic Heights Drive, Martic Township at 2:15 p.m. after anonymous threats were made over the phone.On Feb. 24, telephone records were obtained that showed only one telephone number called the school during the timeframe the threats were made, state police said. Investigators connected that number to 20-year-old Naomi Wenger, of Lancaster.
The school administration confirmed that Wenger was employed as a substitute teacher’s aide for Intermediate Unit 13 students, and was at the school at the time the threats were made.Wenger was charged Thursday with terroristic threats, criminal use of a communication facility and obstruction, according to police.Read more on PennLive:
