Kouamou told KSAT 12 News the same thing back in October when he officially announced the Balling for Uvalde World Weekend. Though hundreds of miles separate them, Rodriguez and McLaughlin agree, Kouamou’s Balling for Uvalde event is ambitious, or it was. “If this event doesn’t happen, I sure hope nobody was scammed out of funds. That would be terrible,” pastor Rodriguez said.
