Thor's newest costume for this year's Hellfire Gala is proving that he's officially replacing his father, Odin, for good as King of Asgard. Thor has been the newest ruler of Asgard for quite a bit now. Beginning with the end of the War of the Realms event by Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman, Thor officially succeeded his father following an intense battle to defend the Ten Realms from the Dark Elf Malekith, becoming All-Father Thor.
