Moorten Botanical Garden is an endearing, quirky vestige of old Palm Springs where even the admission price feels like a remnant of the past.

“They were such a team, and I was just part of the crew, “ Clark said. “To have a vision of this garden, or evenwith desert plants in the 1940s and ’50s, is unbelievable. They’re popular now, but years ago you never saw a lot of cactus and succulents in landscapes. They just had this interest and love for all things of nature.”
