Parents have taken to social media claiming their children are too soft and demanding, which has resulted in a backlash.Over the past few weeks, I've seen many social media videos and posts where parents pour their hearts out about their"children who've lost their way". Children have become too soft and demanding, not to mention entitled and unappreciative, they say.
One parent on Quora asked others for advice as her teen had stopped talking to her because the mother couldn't afford to buy her an Apple phone. One parent suggested she takes the daughter to an iStore and lets her choose a phone, before letting her know that the daughter had to pay for it herself. The point would be to teach her a lesson that money doesn't grow on trees.
