'This is serious dodgeball': Alberta's top dodgeballers to face off at Calgary tournament yyc

Fourteen teams — eight men’s and six women’s — will compete to qualify for the Canadian National Dodgeball Championships in Montreal later this year. Alberta can send its top three men’s teams and top two women’s teams from this weekend’s tournament on a run for national glory in April.Article content
“Two teams finished with a gold medal and it was really neat as an Albertan to see to see that Alberta talent really shining there,” she said.Spitzmacher said Canada as a whole is getting more competitive in the sport — which is growing countrywide to help build its formerly mostly Ontario-based national teams.Article content
