Some don't know what it means
Drivers may be a bit confused by a road sign they've never seen before with a blank circular sign and a red border.
Some exclusions may include '10pm - 4pm except for access' or something along those lines. The Highway Code states these signs mean: 'No vehicles except bicycles being pushed.' If you see this sign while driving, it means you cannot drive your vehicle through the select area. Despite being a vague sign, it is a very common warning on the roads.
Blue signs are used for instruction such as 'turn right' or to indicate a route for only certain vehicles. Green is used to give directions.
