The #SockCurls challenge is the newest trend populating the app and it involves creating ringlet curls out of something you wear on your feet. Yes, you read that right: TikTok users are using socks to curl their hair. If you're looking for a heatless curling method, you might want to pay close attention to on the video platform, because it's going to change your life.. And while the technique may not be exactly new, TikTok has taken it to a newfound level of virality.
Once your hair is dry, you undo the sock twists and run your fingers through your hair to separate, andtried making #SockCurls of their own and spoke to celeb stylist Justine Marjan, who noted that this isn't a new trend and that people have been creating curls without heat for ages using a variety of methods, from rags to foam rollers.
Justine's a fan of the sock method, especially as a way of changing up your look without heat damage. "I love seeing the sock curl trend on TikTok as an easy and accessible way for young girls to style their hair without heat at home," she told the mag.
