The late billionaire Heidi Horten had a jewellery box to make Elizabeth Taylor blush.
The Briolette of India necklace by Harry Winston centres on a whopping 90.38 carat diamond of unusual cut. Legend originally had it that it dated back to the 12th Century, when it was owned by Eleanor of Aquitaine. It is now more widely believed to have first been cut in 1908/9 in France before it was acquired by Cartier, and subsequently by Harry Winston who sold it to an Indian maharaja. Ms Horten acquired it in 1971.
