, playwright Charles Busch once again shows his keen prowess for parody. The piece revolves around Lily Dare’s stormy odyssey from living in a convent to becoming a glamorous cabaret chanteuse and beyond.In this stylized melodrama Busch pays tribute to tearjerker mommy sacrificing movies of the 1930s.
