Chaos ensured on a quiet residential street in Bury
There was a 'carjacking' and a huge brawl involving 30 people on a quiet residential street in Bury this afternoon . Police were called to the corner of Brierly Street and Richmond Street, south of the town centre close to Holy Cross College, at around 12:15pm to reports of a large group fighting.
Two people reported 'being dragged out of their vehicle and assaulted, with an individual then driving off in their car', Greater Manchester Police . The victims were taken to hospital with injuries described by the force as "minor."No one is said to have suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries in the incidents, which officers are understood to be treating as linked.
