Upcoming road closures in St. John's, MUNSU town hall, Torbay's mega market and other community events on the horizon

The city put out an open call for the services and got nine bids, ranging from $59,799 to $240,350. Staff is recommending council approve the lowest bidder, Integrated Staffing Limited.

A number of government representatives from each party have been invited and the town hall will be held in-person and online via Zoom and a live stream on MUNSU's social media channels. Tickets are $15, with a 10 per cent discount for Rooms members. Space is limited so reserve a ticket online or by calling 757-8090.A celebration of gender-diverse performance art for all ages, benefitting Trans Support NL, will be held Saturday, April 29, from 2-5 p.m. at First Light Centre, 42 Bannerman St., St. John's.

This all-ages performance, called"Together Again," will provide entertainment for the entire family as the dancers hit the stage again after a two-year absence. Tickets, $33, are available through the box office.The 9th Annual Milestone Mega Market taking place Sunday, April 30, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Jack Byrne Regional Arena.
