Early Monday morning, thieves broke into Mission District bar Clooney’s Pub and stole its ATM, as well as some cash, as first reported by the San Francisco Standard. San Francisco police responded to the scene at Valencia and 25th streets at approximately 3:17 a.m. on Oct. 23, the San Francisco Police Department told SFGATE. When officers arrived, they attempted to engage with the individual sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
The thieves also trashed the pub’s office and broke three doors, Lyons said. “We will probably be boarding up windows until the city is safer for everyone,” he added. Other businesses in the area have also experienced burglaries recently. On Oct. 2, two armed men robbed Happy Donuts in Noe Valley at gunpoint and stole its ATM and cash, SFGATE reported earlier this month. Two men were charged on Oct.
