“I was holding my phone writing down my info. A guy ran past, grabbed my phone and ran into the road where a car was waiting. And he just drove off,” said Premilla Murkot.

“I had a fever and I was covered in sweat. My throat was sore, and I was coughing a bit. I was like, maybe I have this thing [Covid-19] and what if I have it. I was advised to get a test and I went to a testing station.A woman waiting to be tested for Covid-19 coronavirus was left traumatised after a robber grabbed her cellphone at the Bedford Gardens Hospital in Johannesburg on Thursday night

She and the nurse at the station thought the man was just waiting for his turn to be tested when he grabbed her phone and ran.
