The donation will be used for equipment at the Thessalon site

The Thessalon Auxilary has donated $19,000 to the North Shore Health Network Foundation for use at their Thessalon site.

The money is going toward a new blood pressure monitor, a cardiac monitoring system, and a stretcher. The North Shore Health Network Foundation would like to say a huge thank you to the Thessalon Auxiliary for their donation of $19,000. These funds are going toward a new blood pressure monitor, a cardiac monitoring system, and a stretcher for the Thessalon site. These pieces of equipment were identified as high priority needs for the 2021-2022 year, and the Auxiliary stepped forward to donate the entire amount!

The Auxiliaries work hard all year long to raise funds for your local hospitals. The Thessalon Auxiliary was also instrumental in making our Smile Cookie Campaign for Thessalon a success last September! So much so, that the Thessalon Tim Hortons will again be donating 100% of the proceeds from their Smile Cookie sales back to the NSHN Foundation; specifically, the Thessalon site.
