Which North Texas cities have new mayors after May 7 election?
It’s not yet clear who will serve as Mayor of Duncanville for the next two years.
The current mayor, Barry L. Gordon, who has held the position since 2018 is tied with challenger Mark D. Cooks, who currently serves as District 4 city council member. Both candidates have exactly 1,050 votes.Ron Jensen has secured another term as the mayor of Grand Prairie.and has served three terms. Before being elected mayor he served four terms representing City Council District 6.Blake Margolis’ public service in Rowlett is taking a new form: he’ll be the city’s next mayor.
